Pediatric Visits

When you and your child visit our office for the first time, we will perform an initial oral examination to evaluate their smile. During this exam, we will discuss your child's needs with you and provide education on good pediatric oral hygiene practices so you can help your child build healthy daily dental habits at home. We encourage you to take this opportunity to ask us questions, and we are more than happy to address any concerns you may have. We always work at your child's own pace and remain mindful of any special needs they may have while helping them care for their smile.

Orthodontic Visits

Your — or your child's — first orthodontic visit at our San Jose office is very important in establishing an orthodontic baseline. Our orthodontist will perform a complete oral examination, which includes an analysis of any malocclusion as well as a thorough evaluation of the teeth, oral musculature and possible skeletal irregularities. We will also perform a thorough radiographic analysis with panoramic and cephalometric X-rays, along with a photographic analysis. Any contributing factors, such as poor oral habits, will be considered as well.
